This is a RACE ONLY KIT for the Polaris RZR 170! It is not recommended as a first upgrade. We recommend this kit for serious racers who have a full engine upgrade and that have a lot of time to test and tune. Each RZR is different as well as each driver and their preferences. We can not offer any help tuning this as there are too many variables. Again, if you don't have the time to test and tune, and experience tuning CVT clutches we do not recommend this kit. We will not be able to help you tune this over the phone. We won't even try.
Quicker acceleration, higher top speeds, and smooth operation. Ultralight balanced components, over-sized wear pads, and state of the art polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coatings ensure superior performance and long service life. Fits both carburetor and EFI 170 models.
-Be familiar with clutch tunning beforehand. This kit requires tuning. A lot of tuning. Hours of tuning. This kit is not for the faint of heart.
-Due to the many variables involved in tuning a clutch (elevation, temperature, humidity, driving style, and variations and modifications to machines, etc.) we can not help you tune this. You are on your own.
-This kit is recommended for racers because of the amount of work involved.
For optimal performance we recommend purchasing a range of springs and roller weights to help tune the clutch to you specific needs. The kit comes with a 1000rpm spring but we also offer a 1500rpm spring and 2000rpm spring. And we have a roller weight tuning kit here.
